Himraj Soin

Himraj is a Director at Ibex Expeditions, an award-winning adventure travel company based out of India, planning and guiding mountain, safari, and cultural expeditions. He is also the co-founder and producer at The Outdoor Journal, an international adventure travel multimedia organization. He writes, shoots, and covers international travel destinations, conservation issues, extreme adventure sports, athletes, gear, maps, and more. His work has been published in Vogue, Vice, Runner’s World, National Geographic Traveller India, Reader’s Digest UK, Conde Nast Traveller India, and The Outdoor Journal. In 2021, he helped launch The Outdoor Voyage, a tech travel booking platform. An avid skier and climber, his expeditions have taken him to Tibet, Mongolia, Bhutan, Borneo, Madagascar, Peru, Morocco, Namibia, Argentina, Chile, Siberia, New Zealand, Antarctica, and Svalbard. He was a team member on the International Antarctic Expedition, studying climate change and sustainability. Himraj is fluent in Hindi and has led National Geographic student programs and Putney Student Travel programs in India, Peru, Nepal, Namibia, New Zealand, Tanzania, Morocco, Iceland, Patagonia, and Croatia. He is a Wilderness First Responder.
